The Waterfield PCI Secure Payment IVR provides contact centers with the ability to securely process payments from callers within the Aspect PCI Level 1 network. As the Master Reseller for Aspect products and the preferred IVR professional services arm of CyberSource (a Visa company), Waterfield Technologies has developed a customized self-service payment application that helps companies to take the risk out of handling payment data. In addition to our work with CyberSource, Waterfield also has experience in delivering payment solutions that leverage other payment gateways, such as Fiserv, Authorize.net, and Paymetric.

The table below outlines the business case for creating a secure payments application.

The image below shows a high level diagram of the direct to IVR Architecture.  The process flow description is as follows:

 

  1. Customer calls into Aspect/WT “PCI Secure Payment” IVR app & payment data is collected
  2. Payment data is encrypted and sent to CyberSource for storing, tokenization & processing
  3. The primary account number (PAN) is decrypted and securely stored in the data vault
  4. Payment data is passed on to the processing channel (bank) and the result is returned
  5. CyberSource returns the accepted or denied result to Aspect/WT for further handling
  6. Aspect/WT sends results data to system of record, including the uniquely generated token
