Aspect Software Strengthens Workforce Optimization Leadership with Addition of Mike Bourke

Aspect Software, a leading provider of fully-integrated customer interaction management, workforce optimization, back-office and award-winning cloud solutions, today announced the appointment of Mike Bourke to Senior Vice President and General Manager, Workforce Optimization. Bourke will be responsible for charting the strategic direction, and continuing the momentum of Aspect’s global workforce optimization (WFO) suite and continuing the solution’s global availability in the Aspect Cloud.

Bourke comes to Aspect from Verint where he served as Director, Global Contact Center WFO Practice and was responsible for vision, business strategy, go-to-market execution, and both organic and M&A growth. Prior to Verint, Bourke was the Director of Product Management at Witness Systems where he played a key role evaluating potential acquisition targets and made simultaneous acquisitions of the two market leaders in retail banking and back office workforce management spaces. Leading up to its acquisition by Witness, Bourke also held leadership positions at Blue Pumpkin Software and Onward, Inc.

Bourke holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Environmental Science from Loyola Marymount University.
